The Crowd

The Crowd

The foreground wasn't this crowded. Took many shots of it, merge every individual into the same background and you get this...

Hell's Here

Hell's Here
It's been 4-5 months since I last did my big edit.
Took this image off from Mi's blog again...When I saw it, hit me immediately and said wow! not wow by the original picture...but wow to what I am going to go in editing it.

I have always been fascinated by the Dark Realm.
For this image my impression is...
Hell is not a place, but an immortal demi-god.
Hell is a being!

Ever wonder how Hell look like? Or how his choas will be like?
This image interpret that question.
The Strongest and Most feared of All Dark Realm
Looks can be so deceiving, walking among us
Waiting for his call, to bring those to his world.

The SuperStar

SuperStar

I got this image from my bud's blog Mi. Having looked at it, spark my imagination to make the three guy (who is apparently also my bud) like there were on a cover of a movie blockbuster. Heh Ace to Mi's good composition n the model.

Finally! The Face!

The reason for the title to be in such a way is because, well...this shot was taken last months, I have kept it all this while, cause I stuck with it! I really didn't know how to go about with this edit. It was one attempt to edit after another and I still couldn't get the feel.
So after alot of reading and learning new stuff, I finally got an inspiration to edit, Mi's photo.
Skin Tone
I was actually divided to what I wanted it was either a portrait that emphasis on tonal skin (above) or a creative vision (below)... didn't want to put much thought into it so I did both.

The Guru

This is my other model Jop. THis man is really camera "shy" and to get him even to pose for a shoot is really difficult. I wld love to shoot him more, but the thing is...he's way to busy with his own thang hahaha (Photo edting mostly...)
He's really my CS3 guru.
"Jgn malu2 bah Jop eh" hehehe

Differential Composition + Tooning effect

"Differential Composition" something that I created, meaning merging two image of different composition into one image, but this time choose a more challenging one, without leaving any obvious trace that it been edited/merged
Differential Composition + Tooning
Thus I added an adjustment to confuse the viewers weather the eye perceived it look like a toon-ed subject or not.
Here I use the simplicity of just filtering, dodge and burn only, without the conversion to raw.

New beginning

I don't know, Maybe I am really am a perfectionist! even though I know I not, but I am always wanting more out of myself in what I do, and it is here in editing that I feel the need to be more better than I am now. I want that moment where I blow myself off and say "Wow! Damm! Now that's really awesome editing". THat is what I want for myself

So let these day begin as I start my journey into becoming a really friggin damm good image editor and manipulatior.
BUt first things first...still need to get me wideangle replacement and a complete set down to...enough for studio shoots! Hahaha
Trust me I always get what I want...That is of course if the wife doesn't become an obstacle heh.

Neo Satria Assignment: Completed

Original Picture

Finally!...I tell you this image has been the death of me...really! I been trying to come up with an idea how I want to go about with this image. Guess I was let down by the obvious overcast shadow. I've been editing and re-editing this image for months.
Neo Final
In most cases I never like to crop my images and in this image, there's a lot of subject in it, so decided to do a  el differential composition de creative vision. Hence my creativity has lead me to this illusion in my imagination.

Satria: Strobist and Tone Map Perspective

Original Picture

One of my colleague's car that I hadn't finish editing. When I edited this image...I wanted to do a strobist feel to it, but ended it up with also like it been tone map from photomatix...which I didn't.
Everything is done manually in CS3 and a whooping size of 158.18MB
Neo (Strobist Perspective)
The process in this image involve 2 filters, loads of Rendering, Levels, H/S, Exposure and the whole "ShaBang"!

Ball-ed Tale Revamp

This was actually an image I previously posted...
For me I like to go back to my old images and re-edit them
and I know the second time around is always a lot better than the first...

This is really about Focal point and space of both negative and positive and obvious traces of lines within the negative space. All this in hope to draw your eyes to something in the picture.
