Slient Night

I was actually testing my new lens (11-22mm 1:2.8-3.5) THis Lens took this night shots at ISO100 without the slightest difficulty.
Damn!..worth every penny for a high grad.
Chow Kit Nite
The center of this picture beyond the distance fog is Batu Cave and beyond it is Genting Highland which cld be seen any day of the time...if it's not hazy.

There's like an obvious noise in the above nite shot, well regretfully my mistake-saved it in a small format JPEG. I had use ISO100 wit 2sec exposure.

Chow Kit View...

While the view of this is image seems fantastic (i do find it so wow), but I don't know. Am going to be stuck here for 2 and 1/2 moths to go....Yes...I do sound reluctant cause I am reluctant to come here.
I guess I am just really sad...I feel deep deep sorrow over here.
Not that I am home sick (well one of which yes...) but the fact that I am feeling this negative vibe or aura from the whole surrounding...choking the life out me and i sense a deep trouble.
I had my first friday's Prayers at Masjid Jamek...I literally cried somehow for no apparent reason,
What has become of M'sia? more of my concern are the people...
I once remember a time when I was a kid coming to KL...there was really nothing to fear of, I felt very safe
And that was 20 years ago.
But nowadays...even the locals are taking necessary precautions. I can't believe my eyes...
Honestly I would rather go to Singapore than M'sia. Honestly I would rather go to Australia Geelong than M'sia, I would rather go to New Zealand than M'sia, I would rather go to Dubai than M'sia. I would rather go to Hong Kong than M'sia.
In comparison, they are all developed contries but what it is that M'sia can no longer offer is the peace of mind and the safety of our life! and Trust me I have been to most of the mention countries.
It sadden me because M'sia is a Muslim dominated country! And as a Muslim myself I should and ought to feel safe in a dominated Muslim country!
Say all you want in defence to M'sia. Just give me one clear proof to prove me wrong and I'll be gladly take back what I say.

Holy S#!T!!

With the wave making big with our local press, report of a 10ft wave, man that's inviting.
So went down to muara at the break of dusk...freakishly scared hardly anyone around since storm's coming and wind blowing hard.
I didn't had to wait long and it scared the hell out of me. Came all of the sudden, I was literally shaking in fear!
Cld be well over 12ft...got myself together and snap snap snap my camera goes- "Holy S#!T! I ran like my life depend on it.
I look back...Daammmm...that's big.

Morning Jog.

I KNOW!!! IT'S ALL BLURRRRRR!!! My most used lens (14-42mm) dying out on me. Actually the manual function still works but having to adjust the ring for a clear focus is impossible in low light and it's impossible to see that well.
My SOlution: be replacing with a new wide angle lens soon...very soon.

Anyways Am still busy With my New Resolution, though I have achieved it...but now it's an obsession heh. Even on weekdays my friend... even on weekdays 5:30am Jog.

Hence THis is My Last Photo from my 14-42mm...I am seriously depress now... the agony of sorrowness... Lesson learn: Take Good care of YOur Lens...Real Good.

Sandcastle: Focal Point, Negative and Positive Space, And Leading Your Eye to Something

This is really about Focal point and space of both negative and positive and obvious traces of lines within the negative space. All this in hope to draw your eyes to something in the picture.

Petit Le Grande

Emphasis: Small in Wide angle
We may perceive we are big, but we are naturally small in our surrounding.

I really don't know what title to give this image. But what I had in mind was to adjust the color, exposure and highlight, that would make this image as though it came out straight from a magazine and the images are CG created. An annoying thing is that the images doesn't look the same by comparison from photoshop and picasa!

Greener Perspective

One thing I learn is that you can always go back to your old unused shots and refresh them. THe Image below hadn't been touch for along while now and what I learn is that when you don't know what to do with it, the first time... you can go back the second time and finally get an inspiration to finally post it =)

The Reflection

What I wanted to do was get the reflection of the cloud on the river and with the river just flat out calm, however doing so with just mere longer shutter was completely impossible when the sun is already up in the morning-even with ND4. So gave it another go the following day just about sunrise and mission accomplish.

Tasek Lama Waterfall

Recognize this waterfall, none other than our Tasek Lama... Compare this picture by going there, you'll notice something different.

Took this shot early morning before heading off to work. The trick is when we are experiencing heavy downpour, guarantee you the waterfall will be more monsterous and loud!
